HP PRINTERS WIRELESS AND WPS SETUP

HP printers can be easily connected  wirelessly to the network connection allows you to print directly from your iPad, iPhone, computer or laptop wirelessly. The important thing is that your HP printer and your network connected electronic device must be connected to the same wireless network connection.

   To connect your HP printer wirelessly, power on your HP printer. Install thee ink cartridges and load enough number of papers in your printer. In the HP printer’s control panel, click the wireless icon. Click on settings and select wireless setup wizard. The printer will search for the network connected router. Enter the network name and password and click continue. Connection successful message displays. Now, go back to home icon. In your computer, install the printer software CD and click download. Also, you can download from 123.hp.com/setup. HP Easy Smart starts loading. Agree to the terms and conditions and then click continue. Click wireless network and select printer with touch screen. And then select ink jet and your printer is now connected wirelessly.

   WPS stands for wireless protected setup. To connect your 123 hp officejet 4650 printer to a WPS network, your wireless router must be WPS supported. To know whether your wireless router is WPS supported, your wireless router must have the WPA or WPA2 keyword. Most of the HP printers are WPS capable and so you can follow the steps below to connect your HP printer to the WPS connection.

   To connect your HP printer to WPS setup, power on your printer and install ink cartridges. Press the wireless icon on your printer’s control panel. Touch the settings and then the Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete connection. If needed, download the HP wireless software in your computer. Enter the SSID of your home network and password and connect your Printer to the wireless network. In your Windows OS, go to view network connections. Right click on your network name to view the status bar. In the Wireless Properties window, select Security Tab. Click on show characters to view your wireless network password. In the Internet services paperwork, you can get your username and password. With all these details in hand, press WPS button and enter all the required information. Now, your windows will automatically collects the settings from the router and gets connected to your router and printer. At once you touch the WPS button, your Windows is setup with the wireless protected setup.
